ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Two students in southwest Atlanta got a huge surprise from an Atlanta music icon on Friday.
They now have tickets to Super Bowl LIII happening in their hometown.
Rapper Ludacris surprised the Ron Clark Academy students with the tickets, which normally retail for thousands of dollars.
"There are two students I want to put in the spot right now because they've been really great with their character, with their friends, with inspiring everybody else," Ludacris told the school.
The students erupted into cheers as he announced the surprise.
The ticket giveaway was thanks to a partnership between Ludacris and Mercedes-Benz.
Super Bowl LIII is being played in Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Feb. 3.
