FOX 5 Atlanta welcomed Kaitlyn Pratt as a general assignment reporter in the fall of 2008.

Kaitlyn learned the ropes of television journalism as a writer and field producer at WHDH in Boston. However, it wasn't too long before she decided to jump in front of the camera. She quickly headed south to be a one-man-band reporter in Macon. Her peach state career then led her to Savannah before sending her to the big city to join the team here at FOX 5.

In 2008, Kaitlyn's journalistic excellence was recognized by the RTNDA with an Edward R. Murrow award for her coverage of the Troy Davis death row case. The Georgia Associated Press has also honored Kaitlyn with its award for Best General Reporting.

Kaitlyn majored in English with a specialization in Political Science at Providence College. When she's not covering the news of the day, she enjoys jogging and spending time with her friends and family.
