Judge grants bond for former officer accused of assault

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - A Fulton County judge has granted bond to a former East Point Police officer accused of sexually assaulting a teenager.

Former Sergeant Richard Gooddine appeared in court Thursday morning where the judge granted him a $500,000 bond.

Last month, a mother and her 15-year-old daughter told authorities Goodine molested the minor in the woods.

A grand jury indicted Gooddine on charges he had inappropriate sexual contact with three women.
