Job fair held for veterans

ATLANTA - Nearly 1,500 people attended a job fair to help find work for veterans.

More than 70 different Atlanta area exhibitors filled Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Thursday for the event.

Organizers said the goal is to provide opportunities not just to veterans who are unemployed, but also those that are underemployed.

According to the organizers of the job fair, veteran unemployment is around 3.8 percent, that's slightly below the civilian unemployment rate.
