Jimmy Fallon gets his own theme park ride in Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Jimmy Fallon is getting his own theme park attraction at Universal Orlando Resort.

The host of "The Tonight Show" will be the star of a new ride experience called, "Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon."

According to park officials, Fallon is working with the theme park to develop the ride's story line. The ride is planned to start in a replica of Fallon's Studio 6B and then take visitors on a race through New York City.

The ride is scheduled to open in 2017. It will replace "Twister ... Ride It Out," which will close Monday to make way for Fallon's new ride.
