Inmates participate in a mannequin challenge video that goes viral
A group of inmates from the Alabama Department of Corrections have joined in on the Mannequin Challenge that's sweeping across social media.
A video that was posted on Sunday, November 13 on Facebook, shows inmates dressed in Alabama Department of Corrections in still poses. In the short clip, inmates can be seen fighting, working out, ready and together in prayer circle.
At this time it is unknown which Alabama prison the video was filmed inside of and how the inmates were able to get a smartphone to record the video. The use of an illegal cellphone inside a state correctional facility is considered a Class C felony.
Alabama Department of Corrections Spokesman Bob Horton said they are investigating the source of the video and since January the ADOC has confiscated over 3,000 illegal cellphones.
