Inauguration for Atlanta's new mayor set

ATLANTA - We've just learned when Atlanta’s new mayor will be inaugurated.

Keisha Lance Bottoms will be sworn in as the 60th mayor or Atlanta on Tuesday, January 2 at 1 p.m. at the King International Chapel at Morehouse College.

The city council president and city council members will be sworn in at the same time.

Bottoms edged out opponent Mary Norwood in a runoff earlier this month, winning by just several hundred votes. After a recount, Norwood conceded the race to Bottoms.
