Icy conditions a concern in Cherokee County

Several accidents happened in Cherokee County, due to slick conditions after at least four inches of snow fell. That snow has turned to slush and, in some places, ice.

Georgia DOT crews are treating Interstate 575, trying to keep at least two lanes passable.

Meantime, losing power is still a possibility. Heavy, wet snow piled on trees and powerlines creates a risk.
