Iconic symbol moved to new home at Sun Trust Park

ATLANTA, Ga. - One of Turner Field's most iconic symbols was moved to it's new home at Sun Trust Park.

The Chick-fil-A Cow will now wait to perform the tomahawk chop when fans arrive in 2017 for opening day. 

Before it was installed, the 10,000 pound cow traveled 834 miles to New Orleans for a new paint job.  A team used over 40 gallons of paint to refurbish the cow of steel.

The white wrapping on the cow will stay on until next Spring.
