Two days after the Patriots claimed the Lombardi Trophy inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the city is still celebrating.

"Looking back, I don't know what we could've done better," said Brett Daniels, COO of the Atlanta Super Bowl Host Committee.  "I think we showed Atlanta off to the world."

Daniels credited the "seamless" coordination between the city, stadium, public safety and transportation officials for making the event a success.  Many visitors were pleased with how easy it was to navigate to all the Super bowl LIII events and they appreciated the southern hospitality of the 10,000 TeamATL volunteers.

"It's just a spirit that we tried to build and instill from day one and I think it's also a part of who we are," Daniels explained.

There is, however, always room for improvement, said Daniels.  So, once the Super bowl cleanup is complete, the host committee will meet with its partner agencies to go over what aspects of the event could be better.

"We'll go back afterward and really sit down with all of our partners and find out the things that did go well, the little things that may be behind the scenes no one knew about that were hiccups for us and put those in our notes," said Daniels.

The NFL has already chosen the sites for the next five Super Bowls, but Daniels said he expects Atlanta to be back in the mix sooner rather than later.
