Holly Springs Police honor Girl Scout who donated 751 boxes of cookies

HOLLY SPRINGS, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - It was a donation the Cookie Monster would drool over... A Holly Springs Girl Scout donated 751 boxes of Girl Scout cookies this week.
Those who ordered Girl Scout cookies this year might have seen the column on the signup sheet reserved for donating cookies. Well, the cookies came the other weekend and the troops have been busy fulfilling orders and selling their remaining stock. But each box donated, it really does find a home.
The Holly Springs Police Department shared on their Facebook page the story of area Girl Scout Sydney. She posed with for a photo as she donated 50 boxed to the department. The smiles on their faces were pure joy and gratitude for the donation.
The department wrote on the post:
"Mmmmm. Thanks for the lesson in giving (and for the tasty cookies)."
But get this, Sydney also donated 701 boxes to the Veterans Administration Hospital in Atlanta!
