Gwinnett County man charged with townhouse arson

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - Authorities accuse a Gwinnett County man of starting a fire inside his townhouse.

Fire officials said Jose Ramirez started the fire Tuesday on Old Peachtree Road after a domestic dispute with his wife.

No one was home at the time but a cat was killed.

Authorities said Ramirez was intoxicated.

He was charged with three felonies including arson and cruelty to animals.
