Gwinnett County commissioner Hunter suffers heart attack
GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - Controversial Gwinnett County Commissioner Tommy Hunter was admitted to the hospital Tuesday following a heart attack
That's according to the Gwinnett Daily Post who also reported that Hunter made the announcement over the phone at Tuesday's Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners meeting.
The paper said Hunter expects to be released soon.
Hunter came under fire last year after a controversial Facebook post in which he called civil rights leader and Georgia Congressman John Lewis a “racist pig.”
