‘Guns Down, Heads Up' initiative in Atlanta

ATLANTA - A new initiative aims to keep children away from violence and out of trouble and in school, looking to succeed.

The program is called Guns Down, Heads Up.

It's a collaborative effort between prosecutors, educational leaders, and even former gang members.

Students from Atlanta Public Schools and Fulton County Schools attended the presentation put on by the Fulton County Solicitor General Tuesday.

The program also included a "peace pledge" and a job resource fair for teens.
