Gunman fires shots through Atlanta McDonald's drive-thru
ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Police are looking for a masked gunman who opened fire at a Southwest Atlanta McDonald's drive-thru early Wednesday morning.
Police say just before 1 a.m. the man, whose face was covered up by a blue bandana, walked up to the drive-thru window of the fast-food restaurant on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and put a finger to his lips.
The man's movement frightened the worker at the first window and she ran. That's when police say the man then fired at least two shots. One bullet went through the drive-thru window.
Investigators say the suspect jumped in a white vehicle and got away.
Police are hoping surveillance video of the bizarre encounter brings a better description of the shooter.
