Grammy-winning Group holds benefit concert for library-focused charity

ATLANTA - The Grammy-winning duo, Indigo Girls, held a concert Sunday in Atlanta to help raise money for local libraries.

 

The locally-based singers performed at Terminal West with proceeds benefiting the Save the Libraries charity.

 

Best-selling author Karin Slaughter founded the organization. She told FOX 5 the money raised will go specifically towards the DeKalb County Library System. 

 

Sunday's concert sold out.

 

However, Slaughter encourages everyone to donate to their libraries.
