Governor Nathan Deal orders flags to half-staff
ATLANTA - Governor Nathan Deal extended his thoughts and prayers to the lives that have been affected by a loss this week.
Governor Deal took to social media Friday to re-issue the executive order regarding lowering the flags to half-staff in memory of the fallen officers in Texas to mirror the President’s executive order.
Flags are to be flown at half-staff until sunset on Sunday, July 10.
“Sandra and I pray for the healing of seven additional officers who sustained injuries during this senseless attack.”
