COBB COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Small businesses are the backbone of Georgia’s economy. That's according to Governor Brian Kemp.
Kemp spoke at the Cobb County Chamber's First Monday Breakfast Monday.
More than 600 business and community leaders attended Monday morning's event at the Cobb Galleria Centre.
The governor expressed his support for growing small businesses, calling attention to one of the first moves he made in office, creating the Georgians First Commission.
Not that the legislative session is over, Governor Kemp said he's turning his attention to reforming state government, with goals of making it even more supportive of small businesses and entrepreneurship.
