ATLANTA - An exciting day for Georgia students who are looking toward their futures.
The Georgia Construction Career-Expo kicked off at the Georgia World Congress Center Thursday.
Middle school, high school, and college students from across the state were invited to learn more about craft labor skills and related jobs.
Professionals from more than 300 leading companies in the industry were also there -- not only to answer questions, but also to hire qualified students.
The event continues through Friday.
Organizers expect more than 8,000 people to attend over both days.
