The video shows the deputy approached a vehicle after being called out to the Dollar General on East Highway 166 in Carrollton around 3:20 a.m. for a report of a suspicious car. The deputy is seen approaching the driver’s side of the vehicle just before the driver backs up.

Authorities said the deputy fired several shots. The car can be seen in the video veering off the road with the deputy again approaching from behind.
