Funeral services for Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, were held on Saturday in Alpharetta.

Bobbi Kristina died Sunday night at the age of 22. She passed away at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth where she's been since June 24.

The funeral service was held at Saint James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta.

A hearse carrying the coffin of Bobbi Kristina arrived at the church a little before 11 a.m.. The hearse was escorted by two policemen on motorcycles into the parking lot. Four men dressed in black suits carried the coffin into the church.

Eight police motorcycles escorted three stretch limousines carrying mourners were seen ahead of the service. A procession of dozens of cars followed. A police officer stopped vehicles arriving at the church before they were allowed into the parking lot.

Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed was seen entering the church. Grammy-winning R&B singer Monica was one of the last celebrities to arrive. A cousin, Jerod Brown, was also spotted.

Later, during the service which was closed to the public, a relative of Bobbi Kristina left the service to speak to reporters.

Leolah Brown, the sister of Bobby Brown, walked out of the church and said she was angry because Pat Houston was speaking at the funeral. Pat Houston is the sister-in-law and former manager for the late Whitney Houston.

"I told her that Whitney is going to haunt her from the grave," Leolah Brown told reporters outside the church.

She suggested that the feud between the Houstons and the Browns was far from over.

"It's just getting started," she said.

Alpharetta police say they were assisted by more than a dozen state troopers to manage traffic and shut down lanes to accommodate parking around the church where the service is being held.

Bobbi Kristina died in hospice care July 26, about six months after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub at home.

“Krissy was and is an angel. I am completely numb at this time.  My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory. Our loss is unimaginable.”  said Bobby Brown. “We thank everyone for the prayers for Krissy and our family as we mourn my baby girl.” Said Bobby Brown.

Bobbi Kristina was found submerged in her bathtub on January 31, and police believe she was underwater for anywhere between 2 and 5 minutes. She was discovered in the Roswell townhome she shared with Nick Gordon, the man she called her husband.

Paramedics were able to resuscitate her, but she was in a medically induced coma and placed on life support.

"Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away July, 26 2015, surrounded by her family. She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months," Kristen Foster, a representative for the Houston family said Sunday.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office said Monday the initial part of the autopsy had been completed and there are no signs of an obvious underlying cause of death and no significant injuries were noted. Additional laboratory testing will be performed.

"We do not plan to complete the death certificate or determine a cause and manner of death until all test results are completed and all investigative, medical, and other documentary records are received and thoroughly reviewed," said the Medical Examiner's office in a news release Monday.

Back in February, Bobbi Kristina’s aunt spoke only to FOX 5 News. At that time, Leola Brown said she wanted investigators to uncover "the truth about what happened to her niece.” She reiterated that plea in a conversation with FOX 5’s Aungelique Proctor on Monday.

But Attorney Joshi, who is not involved in the case, said based on the circumstances charges against anyone appear unlikely to him.

"Beyond how she died, as we get into, did somebody do it… An intention act... Was it an accident? Was it a drug overdose? I think that would be very hard to determine if at all," said attorney Joshi.

Sources told FOX 5 News that the Brown family was meeting Monday night to discuss what funeral home they plan to use and the possibility of an Atlanta service.

It is hard to say goodbye. On Sunday, July 26, Bobbi Kristina Brown made her transition peacefully. The family thanks everyone for their loving thoughts and prayers. As Bobbi Kristina would say: "The wind is behind me and the sun is in my face.”

TMZ: This is now a 'Homicide Investigation':

"The investigation into the circumstances that led to Bobbi Kristina's death Sunday has just been amped up ... TMZ has learned it's now officially a homicide investigation.

Law enforcement sources tell us, both the D.A. and the cops are treating the mystery as foul play, and Bobbi Kristina's boyfriend, Nick Gordon, continues to be a person of interest.

Although months have separated the incident in which Bobbi Kristina was found submerged in her bathtub from her death Sunday, law enforcement is confident there will be no problem finding a direct link between the 2, and they have felt from the beginning there was foul play."  TMZ says in a new report.
