Fulton Sheriff's Office investigating viral video

The Fulton County Sheriff's Office has opened an investigation into a viral video that seems to show one of its deputies involved in heated political discussion.

Clinton Reynolds posted the video on his Facebook page Monday, which shows a man dressed in a Fulton County uniform yelling at someone off screen about the presidential race.

“A guy there had on a hat that just said, ‘Make America Great Again’ was all it said and evidently that set him off,” explained Reynolds.

The uniformed man can be heard saying Trump supporters must be “out of their minds.”

According to Reynolds, the dispute happened on Election Day at a job site where the deputy works on a private contract. He believes the man should be fired not only from the private security job, but whatever job he holds with the county.

“I was just surprised at his behavior,” said Reynolds. “I couldn't believe that he would act that way, especially over something so petty. Um, that’s something you need to keep out of it, [religion] and politics, especially when you're in uniform.”

The Fulton County Sheriff's Office released a statement about the video:

“The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office is aware of a video posted online depicting part of an interaction between two men concerning the presidential election.  The matter is under review. Investigators are working to identify the individual in the video and determine whether that person is attached to this agency.”

Thousands of people shared the video and many others commented on it before Reynolds removed it from his Facebook page on Tuesday.
