FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - The Fulton County School District has named a finalist in its search for a new superintendent.
Dr. Jeff Rose is the current superintendent of Beaverton School District in Oregon.
Fulton County School District officials said Rose meets the criteria that was set fourth in a community survey that asked parents, staff and other stakeholders what they wanted in their next superintendent.
Following a 14 day public comment period, the board plans to formally tender the position to Dr. Rose with a three year contract. If accepted, he will join Fulton County Schools on June 1.
