Fulton County Schools holds Topping Out ceremony
FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - Fulton County Schools celebrates a milestone in the construction of their new North Maintenance Facility.
Wednesday they held a Topping Out celebration which is typically when the last beam or final roofing piece is placed.
The 34,000 square foot facility is funded by the one-penny education sales tax and will house the team that responds to maintenance calls from more than 60 schools on the north side of Fulton County.
Officials say a similar facility is under construction in Fairburn to serve the south Fulton County community.
