Fugitive added to Clayton County Most Wanted list

The Clayton County Sheriff's Office added a fugitive to its most wanted list.

David Phillips tried to carjack a couple at knifepoint and threatened to kill them in front of their three-year-old child, according to deputies.

Investigators believe Phillips later stole a car and dragged a deputy who tried to stop him.

Deputies say Phillips then led them on a chase hitting a number of cars and then crashing.

Officers from another department eventually used a Taser him and arrested him.

Medics took Phillips to the hospital but medical staff later released him.

Authorities consider Phillips to be armed and dangerous.

Anyone who sees him should call 911 immediately.
