Fuel spill at Atlanta's Airport
ATLANTA - Around 1,000 gallons of jet fuel Thursday morning at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
Atlanta fire officials said the spill happened at approximated 10:45 a.m. when the hose connection came undone while a plane was being refueled.
Sergeant Stafford of the Atlanta Fire Department said three gates on Concourse E were evacuated as a precaution.
No one was injured and the spill has stopped.
No flights were delayed as a result of the spill.
Units from Atlanta Fire Department and the Department of Aviation arrived on the scene.
Officials are calling the spill an accident.
