Freeze warning and frost advisory issued for Sunday morning across north Georgia
ATLANTA - A Freeze Warning has been issued for Saturday night and Sunday morning from 2 am to 9 am EDT. The warning is generally along and north of a line from Summerville to Dawsonville to Cleveland. Temperatures are expected to range from 28 to 32 degrees with a few cooler valley locations.
A frost advisory is in effect from 4 am to 9 am for the rest of north Georgia, north of a line from LaGrange to Macon to Louisville. Temperatures are expected to range from about 33 to 37 degrees. The cities of Atlanta and Athens are included in this advisory.
Remember to take actions to protect sensitive plants to possible freezing conditions. Monday brings a return to seasonal averages as highs reach the lower 70's.
