FOX 5 Poll: Trump would win Georgia if election were today
ATLANTA - A new FOX 5/Opinion Savvy Poll shows that Donald Trump would likely win the state of Georgia if the election were held this week.
The poll sampled likely voters in the upcoming presidential election in Georgia. FOX Political Analyst Matt Towery said the race would still be close, within the margin of error.
The poll also asked if they would be more likely to vote for Donald Trump if he picked former House Speaker and Georgia Congressman Newt Gingrich as his running mate. 27 percent said the move would make them more likely to vote for Republican presumptive nominee.
