This is no April Fool’s Day joke. The Floyd County Police Department is seeking a suspect who could easily be mistaken for Swamp Thing following the robbery of a vape shop.

The incident occurred at a store along Martha Berry Highway last Friday.

What we know:

The department posted images and a video to its Facebook page on Wednesday. They show a person wearing a full-body camouflage ghillie-style suit with leaf-like textures. The individual is wearing a black beanie or hood pulled down with camo netting or "shag" material covering the face.

Investigators say the person got his tentacles—sorry, hands—on multiple items, stuffing them into a large, tan or coyote-brown tactical backpack.

What we don't know:

It is unclear if the suspect was armed or spoke to the store clerk.

A list of items the robber made off with has not been released.

What you can do:

Anyone with information is asked to call the Floyd County Police Department. The department says anonymous tips can also be submitted through their app.
