Floyd County body found

FLOYD COUNTY, Ga. - A homicide investigation is underway in Floyd County after a body was found.

Police say a woman's body was found off Cunningham Road near U.S. 411 between Six Mile and Cave Spring Wednesday.

Investigators say someone called 911 around 4:30 p.m. after spotting the body in a ditch.

Police have sent the body to the crime lab to find out how this woman died.
