Firefighters: Families escape early morning house fire

ATLANTA - Firefighters are trying to figure out what sparked a house fire in southwest Atlanta.

The fire began at around 5 a.m. Monday on Barge Road in Atlanta.

Crews believe the fire started in a closet.

Two families with four kids under the age of 9 live in the house.

Firefighters said someone inside the home woke up and got everyone out safely.
