Fire destroys Gwinnett County home

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - Gwinnett County firefighters are trying to determine what started the fire that destroyed a home in Snellville.

Crews were called out at around midnight Monday morning to the home in the 2400 block of East Main Street.

Firefighters arrived to find flames shooting through the roof.

Emergency officials had to shut down part of Highway 78 while they battled the flames.

Firefighters say no one was inside the house when the fire started.
