Fed-Ex trucks crash on I-75 in Cobb County

COBB COUNTY, Ga. - Major traffic delays along Interstate 75 in Cobb County Monday afternoon could soon translate to major delays for some deliveries in the metro Atlanta area.

It happened along I-75 southbound near Barrett Parkway. Officials said two Fed-Ex trucks struck each other. The resulting accident spread packages along the shoulder along the busy roadway and some even flew into the woods.

SKYFOX 5 flew over the scene around 4:30 p.m. and spotted a Bobcat scooping up the packages and placing them in a large dumpster.

It was not immediately clear if any customers expecting those package will actually receive them or get replacements.
