FBI searching for dangerous serial robbers
ATLANTA - The FBI in Atlanta is looking for the public’s help in identifying three armed and dangerous serial robbers. Agents said the men have hit eight stores in just two weeks in metro Atlanta. The men have punched and fire shots during the crimes.
The FBI said the show of violence is escalating and posing a threat to store employees and customers.
“We are just lucky that no one has been killed, which is our greatest fear,” said Kevin Rowson, a spokesman for the FBI in Atlanta.
The men have hit four Family Dollar stores, two Waffle House restaurants as well as a CVS and Walgreens pharmacies.
The FBI said the men have assaulted employees, forced them to the ground and even fired shots in their direction.
This is an Atlanta Crime Stoppers case with a reward for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information can call 404-545-6755.
