Family seeks answer a week after East Point murder
ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - The family of a man murdered during a double shooting East Point March 29 is demanding answers in his death.
East Point Police said the shooting happened around 9:40 p.m. at a home in the 2900 block of Delowe Drive. Lenne Morgan was found shot to death inside the home near the Atlanta-East Point line.
A week later, his family is seeking answers from detectives to provide some sort of closure. They describe Morgan as a man always with a smile and quick with a joke.
Family members said Morgan is a Mayes High School graduate and worked in construction.
The East Point Police Department continues to investigate the case a homicide.
