On Saturday, family and friends of 28-year-old Sean Mobley gathered to pray outside the Buckhead bar where the father of two was shot and killed.

Atlanta police say they've identified the gunman, but they aren't releasing his name and they haven't made an arrest.

"It makes me feel like they're doing work and that justice will prevail," said Sean's father, Ronnie Mobley.

Until that arrest is made, the Mobley family is making sure they support one another so no one grieves alone.

"Sean's probably on the stoop looking at us," Ronnie Mobley said. "He's probably over there doing some breakdancing or something."

Family members say knowing the killer is behind bars would help them through the painful realization that Sean is gone.

Mobley left behind a 3-year-old and a 6-year-old daughter.

"She tells everyone, 'Dad's in heaven,' but she really doesnt know what it means," said Destiny Dawson, the mother of Sean's daughter. "It hurts my feelings, but I try not to cry in front of her, but it's hard."

"I don't know that there's ever peace in a situation like this, but that's what I will pray for for my family," said Mobley's cousin, Angela Jacobs.

The Mobleys say they have faith that the police department is close to bringing them some of the closure they're desperately seeking.

"You always hope that they turn themselves in," said Ronnie Mobley."But whatever they did, they have to redeem themselves with God. I think APD is going to make their arrest soon," said Mobley.

The family has started a fund to help Sean's two daughters. You can help support them here. The family is also being assisted by the New Order National Human Rights Organization.
