ATLANTA - Atlanta Falcon’s players and the Atlanta Police Department officers team up to help build a new home for an Atlanta resident.
Friday afternoon, volunteers from both organizations worked on minor construction projects and painting tasks at the construction site.
The house is being built in Atlanta's Westside community as part of Habitat for Humanity's first-time homebuyer program.
And for one Atlanta Falcon being able to work on a home in that particular community is something extra-special.
Friday's construction project is one of several social justice initiatives that the Falcons and Atlanta Police are teaming up on.
It's also part of the NFL's Let's Listen Together Campaign.
