Facebook users find U.S. Army veteran's missing therapy dog
When Barry Briggs 9-month old, Australian shepherd mix disappeared, his whole family panicked. The pup, named Coco, is Briggs therapy dog after a medical discharge from a 14-year career in the U.S. Army.
"When I was at Walter Reed (Army Medical Center) getting treatment. They had a session with service dogs and there was just something about 'em," says Briggs.
However, on September 10, Coco vanished. No one had noticed that the sliding glass door was cracked open. Briggs figures Coco got away through a rip on their screen enclosure.
The family put up missing posters around Merritt Island and asked for help on Facebook. A little less than two days later, someone answered their prayers.
