Expensive taste — $1.1 million bottle of Scotch

The price of a bottle of single-malt whiskey has set records on the auction block. How much would you pay for a good bottle of Scotch whiskey?

Someone paid $1.1 million for just one bottle at an auction, smashing the world record. It was a 60-year-old The Macallan Valerio Adami 1926, considered "the Holy Grail of Whiskey." Part of its value stems from its label, which was designed by Italian pop artist Valerio Adami.

Only 24 bottles of the Scotch were produced, two of them with labels by Adami and 12 with labels by another pop artist, Peter Blake.

No one knows exactly how many of the bottles remain.
