An elderly woman was arrested and charged with murder after police say she shot and killed her husband after he purchased a pornographic movie on their television.

Officers say 69-year-old Patricia Hill shot her husband, 65-year-old Frank Hill, Saturday at their Jefferson County, Arkansas home.

Police say Mrs. Hill told investigators that she arrived home and confronted her husband who was in the utility shed about a recent pornography purchase he made via their television. She said she cancelled the order but her husband was able to place a subsequent order.

She said there was no physical altercation between the two and that she asked her husband to leave. When he didn’t, she told investigators that she went to the house and armed herself with a .22 caliber pistol, went back to the shed, and shot her husband once in the leg and once in the head.

Police say after the shooting Mrs. Hill called 911 and reported what had happened.

Patricia Hill is being held without bond at the W.C. “Dub” Brassell Adult Detention Center. She will remain in custody pending the scheduling of her first court appearance.
