Egleston returns to normal after suspicious package

ATLANTA - Officials said things at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston have returned to normal Wednesday night after an earlier scare.

The hospital which caters specifically to children's heath and medical emergencies was flooded with police officers and firefighters checking on a suspicious package reported in the area.

Several roads around the hospital's campus were closed during the investigation. The lockdown was lifted around 10:30 p.m. 

Information about the suspicious package was not yet released.
