Restaurant raising funds for local chef

Tio Lucho's Peruvian Restaurant hosted a fundraiser to raise funds for Daniel Londondo, owner-chef of Little Tokyo in Alpharetta.

This morning, the community is awaiting updates on the total amount raised at a recent fundraiser to help a local chef in his recovery journey.

Daniel Londono, the owner of Little Tokyo in Alpharetta, experienced a medical emergency in December that required brain surgery. As he faces a long road to recovery, the community has come together to offer support.

Yesterday, Tio Lucho’s Peruvian Restaurant hosted a fundraiser featuring dishes from various local restaurants to benefit Londono. Other participants included The Freaking Incan and The Flippin Chicken, Kamayan, Gigi's Italian Kitchen, Breaker Breaker, Evergreen Butcher & Baker, Sweet Auburn Barbecue and more.

For those who missed the event, donations are still being accepted through a GoFundMe page, which has already raised nearly $10,000 to assist with his medical expenses and recovery.
