Eating competition to help eradicate hungry
ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Six people competed Saturday in an eating competition to help eradicate hunger in metro Atlanta.
The “Holiday Dinner in a Cup” eating competition took place Saturday afternoon at Six Flags over Georgia.
The six contestants had six minutes to eat through as many cups with six layers of a holiday dinner in one cup.
Those layers consisted of pumpkin pie with whipped cream, cranberry sauce, green beans, stuffing, mashed potatoes and of course turkey and gravy.
The grand prize winner won $1,000 for their charity. That was ultimate won by the contestant representing Must Ministries.
The other five contestants won $300 each for their charities. Those were Feeding America, Positive America Youth, Helping Hands, Hosea Helps, and Meals on Wheels.
