East Point carjacking murder investigation
EAST POINT, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - East Point Police are looking for a ruthless murder suspect that they say is on the run.
Detectives say Ronald White and two other men demanded a car at gunpoint, outside an apartment on Fox Hunt Lane. Police say the trio shot one of the victims even though both men were getting out of the car.
Terrick Mathews, 24, was shot in the neck and died on the scene. Mathews was a devoted father to his two young children and was initially asleep when the gunmen approached.

Surveillance video showed the suspects at a gas station purchasing gasoline, just before police say they torched the stolen Nissan Maxima.
That charred car was found at an apartment complex on Old Hapeville Road.
East Point Police say White, his 15-year-old brother and Luther Ausbrooks were involved in the attack.
White’s mother turned her 15-year-old son in but told police she did not know where White was.
Police say they believe White is still in the area. They say an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers could pay a reward of up to $2,000.
