Dozens displaced after Cobb County apartment fire

COBB COUNTY, Ga. - Red Cross is assisting more than 50 residents displaced after a fire at an apartment complex in Austell.

Officials say 29 units were affected by the blaze Tuesday morning at the Villas of Riverside Apartments at 648 Whisper Trail.

Cobb County Fire Department reported heavy damage to several units.

Investigators say they believe the fire started in an attic.
