Loved ones of a missing Bartow County man have been desperately searching for him for days and are especially concerned because he suffered multiple strokes in the past few years.

Family members said 50-year-old Clifford "Chuck" Manning went missing at least five days ago, from his neighborhood in the area of Pine Vista Circle in Cartersville.  Manning's kids and loved ones have been searching for days, knocking on doors and handing out flyers.

"We have checked woods, we have checked creeks, we have walked roads, railroad tracks," said  Heather Perkins, Manning's niece.  "We have driven these roads back and forth numerous times in search of finding Uncle Chuck."

Manning's son said they are especially worried because his father has had a few strokes and his walking and speech are extremely limited.  They fear he may have fallen and gotten hurt.

"Still has little seizures and has not had his medicine since he has left," said Charles Manning, Manning's son.  "He tends to fall over.  He is just not real stable."

Charles said they've called local hospitals and police departments and are are working with Cartersville Police.  Charles said some officers have even stopped to pray with him while he is out searching.

"I am not stopping until we find him," said Charles.

Loved ones are grateful to the community for their efforts and just hope someone, somewhere knows something.

"We would just like to be able to get him home and safe and back where he needs to be and the community is the only way we can do so," said Perkins.
