Deputies: Suspect in violent 2018 murder captured

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Deputies in DeKalb County said they have captured a suspect in a violent 2018 murder.

Gianni Maziah Harris, 21, of Decatur, was charged with felony malice murder this week in the death of Troy Cosby.

According to the warrant issued this week, Cosby was stabbed 33 time with a small knife at a home on Brockett Trail in Clarkston.

The DeKalb County Police Department East Net Team took Harris into custody in Lithonia without incident. He was booked into the DeKalb County Jail.
