Deputies: Suspect in roommate's murder may be in Peru
NORCROSS, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - The man Gwinnett County police said killed his roommate last month and went on the run may now be in South America.
Heraclios Solis-Ortiz, 56, has warrants for felony murder and aggravated assault outstanding for him. Gwinnett County Police said Solis-Ortiz killed one of his roommates, 52-year-old Geremias Barrios Diaz, at the apartment they shared at the Villas Del Camino Apartments in the 1300 block of Graves Road in unincorporated Norcross.

This past week, the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office was alerted to Solis-Ortiz’s passing through Peruvian customs. He was not detained.
Police described him as a Hispanic male with a height of around 5-feet-7-inches and a muscular build. He has black hair and green eyes.
