Deputies said multiple North Carolina teens were arrested Saturday night after driving through several Georgia counties with methamphetamine in the car.

The driver, Ricky Kyle Lewis, faces multiple charges including trafficking in meth, theft by receiving stolen property, fleeing from police and reckless driving, according to deputies.

Investigators identify the passengers as 18-year-old Harley Rene Robbins and 20-year-old Camron Andrew Thill. Harley Rene Robbins and Camron Andrew Thill are also charged with trafficking in meth.

Deputies said Georgia State Patrol troopers chased the stolen Hyundai Sonata through multiple counties on Interstate 85. Deputies convinced Lewis to pull over and after looking in the car found 52 grams of methamphetamine.

Lewis told officials he rented the car in Charlotte to drive to visit his mother in Alabama. Officials said the license plate was registered to a stolen 2005 Ford Explorer.
