Deputies: Canton Man Wanted In Stabbing

CANTON, Ga. - Cherokee County Sheriff's Deputies have launched a search for the man they believe stabbed another man in Canton.

Deputies tell FOX 5 they were called to Northside Cherokee Hospital Saturday night after Brandal Byrd, 43, came to the emergency room with several stab wounds to his back, head and abdomen.

Byrd was treated and released from the hospital. 

Investigators are looking for Brian Miller, 28, who they believe stabbed Byrd.  According to detectives, Miller was last seen driving a dark colored SUV with a cracked windshield.  He is wanted on aggravated assault charges. 

Authorities ask anyone who sees Miller to call 911.
